Fun Fact: Before I had my permit, or license, my Dad would always take me to the Target parking lot early in the morning to practice driving. As long as its early and they aren't busy with customers I doubt there would be too much of an issue.

Do it when it's not busy, and at the very back of the lot when there are a lot of open spaces. That's probably the least chance of getting paul blarted.

My excuse is that my driveway is super skinny, and I could take pretty pictures in the loading dock behind Target. Plus refreshments, and soccer moms looking at me strange

Do it near the rear of the parking lot and I don't think anyone would give a damn. Truckers sleep in the lot at the Target by my house all the time.
